Dataspaces Framework
ART Dataspace Framework (ADF) is a robust dataspaces framework engineered to facilitate secure, interoperable, and scalable data sharing across diverse systems and organizations within domain-specific dataspaces. Aligned with industry standards from dataspace initiaves such as the International Data Space Association (IDSA) and the FIWARE Foundation, ADF enables seamless integration, management, and exchange of data while ensuring sovereignty, privacy, and regulatory compliance. The deployment of Dataspace Connectors allow participants to onboard and operate as both providers and consumers (“prosumers”) of data and service offerings. A federated Data Offerings Catalogue, based on a unique metadata-based approach, enhances discoverability by presenting all available data and services from providers in a secure, privacy-preserving manner. Identity and Access Management (IAM) ensures robust authentication, authorization, and governance, safeguarding data integrity. ADF addresses challenges like data silos, system incompatibilities, and privacy concerns, fostering collaborative ecosystems in domains such as energy, IoT and supply chain. By enabling secure, interoperable, standardised and controlled data exchange, ADF provides the foundations for innovation in AI, analytics, and digital transformation.
