Hardware and Software Engineering Ltd (HSE) is an Athens-based Information Technology Company established in 1999. Specializing in current Information Technologies, HSE focuses on designing and developing core business applications, analytics, and collaboration tools for clients in various sectors, including private companies and government organizations.

HSE has a strong track record of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, particularly in the banking industry. Notable achievements include collaborating with EuroBank, the third-largest bank in Greece, to create a stock market monitoring software. Additionally, HSE developed a document management and workflow system for the National Bank of Greece and a web portal and a loan & credit card management system for PostCredit S.A., a subsidiary of Hellenic Postbank. The company has also provided custom information systems for prominent Greek companies such as Cosmote and PPC, and has extensive experience in e-Government projects.

In the public sector, HSE has undertaken significant projects, such as developing a comprehensive management information system for Greece’s Ministry of Defence, creating a portal for the Ministry of Interior, and tailoring its document management system for the National Meteorological Service. The company has also collaborated with the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) to develop an innovative information system for the Greek Ministry of Health. HSE, being a spin-off of NTUA, maintains a strong research environment within its organization and has experienced personnel dedicated to research projects.
